Note: aIn order to alleviate problems of underestimating occupational experience for entrepreneurs, we constrain the entrepreneur’s sample to include the ones who started businesses between 2002 and 2007 and survived till the end of 2007, when the survey was conducted. In fact, even using the most conservative measure of occupation diversity without adjusting timing, we find individuals significantly hold 0.7 more occupations than those who never start a business.
