Standard errors in parentheses. *, ** and *** indicate that the coefficient is significant at 10%, 5% and 1% respectively. The variable “Only Typical Load” refers to eight courses per year. “Duke Rank” denotes the Duke admission rank variables (see footnote 14 for an explanation on how these variables were constructed).
